@WeCreateChangeAL exhibitions examine several social and political issues impacting Alabama including mass incarceration, voter suppression, and banning of critical race theory. These exhibitions feature politically charged artwork from local and nationally acclaimed artists. The show opens on February 15, 2022, in the Warren/Britt Galleries, in the Tullibody Fine Arts Center on the campus of Alabama State University. The pop-up showcases over 40 works of art created by 17 artists. The show schedule features the Opening Reception, and a community conversation with artists, and leaders from organizations supporting work in the areas of voting rights, criminal legal reform, and racial justice. The last day of the exhibit will be March 11, 2022.
